How to Remove recycle bin in your desktop

For XP Professional
go to start>run>gpedit.msc
find the ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATES then click onDesktop

On the right hand pane find " Remove Recycle Bin icon on the desktop " , double left click on it to ENABLE it.

for XP Home edition like me
Go to start>run>regedit
look for HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Explorer\HideDesktopIcons>NewStartPanel
then right click there and choose new then click DWORD value.
then put this as the name {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
then double left click the one you modify and change the value to 1. should be in hexadecimal.
